What to expect with your energy assessment

Your assessment will include a visual home inspection as well as diagnostic and combustion safety testing to identify the most cost-effective energy improvements. In addition, a certified contractor will provide the following energy-saving, comfort-enhancing upgrades at no cost as needed.

How it works

We can assign an approved contractor to schedule your assessment. Due to high demand, there may be a waiting period.

The approved contractor will conduct the assessment, install any needed upgrades* and submit the required paperwork to SWEPCO.

Your home may be randomly chosen to have the improvements verified by our pathway staff. If so, you will receive a follow-up call to schedule this inspection.

*This service is provided to you at zero cost. The contractor is paid by SWEPCO directly.
